your hands.
Pinch to scroll. Sweep to go back. Glide is a free extension for Microsoft Edge that reads your hand through your webcam, for recipes with flour on your fingers, tutorials while your hands are busy, or a rest for your wrist.
Two gestures
- 🤏 Pinch and move: grabs the page and scrolls it, like dragging paper. Let go and it glides to a stop.
- 👋 Sweep an open hand right: back. Left: forward.
Waving while you talk does nothing: scrolling needs a pinch, and a swipe has to be quick and level. A practice page shows exactly what Glide sees.
Your camera stays yours
Glide tracks your hand on your computer, with a copy of Google's MediaPipe hand tracker that ships inside the extension. Video is never recorded, saved or sent anywhere, and Glide's pages are blocked from connecting to the internet at all. Read the privacy policy.
